For this project I don't want to do something simple and just iPhone app related.

As we are allowed to set out design in the future I think we've been given the opportunity to really get create and design something beyond the realms of today's technology.

The VicPod is a futuristic navigational device that not only tells you where to go but also takes you there in no time at all. On your journey you may catch up on your social networking, your to do list, check your overdue library loans and listen to music synced from your own iTunes account.

The VicPod travels through magnetic rigs above the University to go between buildings and through pedestrian separated pathways on ground level to take you straight to your class.

To login you simply place your handprint on the screen as the VicPod scans your handprint, recognizes you and loads your victoria and personal information. From there you simply pick where you would like to go and relax.
At your destination point you simply step off of the device and once the object feels your presence leave it will log you out.
