Materials

I've decided to make my base project out of wood
I think wood looks cleaner and presentable when sanded down and or painted so that's what I'm doing
Spent the weekend drilling out a hole for my iPod in the wood and elevating the back of it so that it slants towards the participant and is easier to use. Also I figured if I hide the iPod and just show the screen then the project is more my own and less about the iPod and apple.

I'm currently in a last dash attempt to make instructional and answer booklets so that when the person uses it they can see what levels they actually got right and hopefully it will enhance their experience since creating a original and exciting experience is a big part of the project.

The drums are actually cake tins from farmers as real drums were $50/$60
I think as long as theres a colour defining the sound (white being the lighter sound and black being the deeper sound) then it still works
Decided to ditch the bottom base of the object so that the ipod can be chaeged

This is my base so far. I'm going to white wash the top layer because it's not that nice wood and the other stuff is a nice colour that would contrast with the white.
